Different Jeep Performance Parts concept parts combine to bring this Jeep Jeepster to life. Based on a Wrangler Rubicon, its color palette and sporty air evoke the 1966 Jeepster.
The two-tone color theme of the original model is now reflected in its modern counterpart thanks to a bodywork in a bright red tone (Firecracker Red) that contrasts with the bright white (Bright White) of the two-inch cut hard top, and the sloping windshield. back 2.5 degrees to create a more compact image. This exclusive windshield features the drop-in capability seen in the new 2018 Wrangler. The perimeter of the fenders inherited from the Wrangler Rubicon and the top of the conceptual 'half-doors' are enhanced by accents in glossy white. The Jeep insignia is replaced by a three-color Jeepster emblem.
The Jeepster cleverly blends the conceptual possibilities with a rich set of Jeep Performance Parts currently available to buyers, including the hood and graphics. Off-road LED lights in 5 and 7-inch applications with up to 8,000 lumens of capacity are attached to the "A" pillar and 2-inch fender guard. The fender, sourced from the production Rubicon, also features
Jeep wrangler LED fog lights.
To tackle any type of obstacle, a 2-inch lift kit and 2.5-inch diameter sho-ck absorbers work in conjunction with oversized 37-inch BF Goodrich tires. The 17-inch bead-locking wheel rim is painted the same bright red (Firecracker Red) bodywork. Other items in the JPP catalog that we can find on the Jeepster are the black fuel tank cap, door handles and floor mats for all types of weather.
Inside the Jeepster, a tubular concept safety cage replaces the traditional Jeep Wrangler sport bars. In addition, as a great novelty the 38-inch spare tire is held inside the cabin by means of an exclusive bracket. The interior space combines off-road functionality with premium elements, including Katzkin leather seats in black with Rubicon red stitching and the same color Jeep logo embroidered on the backrests. The instrument panel inserts replicate the strong red (Firecracker Red) of the body.
Relocating the spare tire inside the cab provides an opportunity to add another conceptual touch to the exterior: storage boxes still in the concept phase are installed on the tailgate to transport equipment and supplies such as water, food or tools . The boxes have a split design to accommodate the rear camera. An original step, also a concept (an original combination of side protector and footboard), completes the Jeepster.
