The new Uconnect Box offers advanced connectivity on board the Renegade and a host of useful services for increased safety and comfort. These services are divided into three categories: Basic (activated at the factory) and Standard (which must be activated by the customer) are offered as standard content, while the Optional is offered on request.

Each category features a set of service packages: My Assistant (Basic category) includes an emergency call function that allows an occupant to call for help, sending the vehicle's location and identification to a call center in the event of an accident or emergency, via the SOS button on the ceiling light, the button on the radio screen or by using the mobile application. The call will be made automatically in the event of an accident. In the event of a vehicle breakdown, the driver can request roadside assistance by providing the coordinates of the car to allow help to arrive. The call can be activated by pressing the Assist button on the ceiling panel, pressing the button on the radio screen or using the mobile phone app.

Similarly, it is also possible to contact Customer Service directly for help. Also included in this package is a service that provides owners with monthly email information on the status of their Renegade.

As for the Jeep Renegade engine range, it includes gasoline versions such as the 1.0 turbo three-cylinder that develops 88 kW (120 hp) of maximum power and 190 Nm of maximum torque combined with a six-speed manual transmission and the 1.3 four-cylinder turbo developing 110 kW (150 hp) and 270 Nm of torque combined with the DDCT dual-clutch transmission and front-wheel drive. The range is completed by the 88 kW (120 hp) and 320 Nm 1.6 MultiJet II turbodiesel engine combined with a six-speed manual transmission or a front-wheel drive DDCT dual-clutch transmission.
