The Jeep Wrangler has always been an off-road vehicle that the majority of off-road enthusiasts cannot avoid, and the market for the Jeep Wrangler is becoming more and more popular. Some time ago, the author made a simple evaluation of the Sahara four-door version, but some friends want to know the Rubicon version vehicle performance. Since we really can't borrow a test drive car here, we still asked a friend to borrow a 2021 2.0T Rubicon four-door model from the club, and I also focused on its driving experience. This is what it looks like after I upgrade with the oem Jeep Wrangler led headlights. Let me share with you Share some of my personal test drive experience.

Jeep Rubicon

The engine of the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is also a 2.0T turbocharged engine, and the matching transmission system is an 8AT gearbox. The vehicle has a maximum power of 266 horsepower and a peak torque of 400 Nm. The power parameters of this 2.0T turbocharged engine are very good, and the power adjustment of the vehicle is also more aggressive, especially the torque burst is very strong at the beginning of the start, and the power response does not have a trace of sluggishness. The fly in the ointment is the 2nd to 3rd gear There are signs of intrusion at the joints. In addition, the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is not very active in upshifting. When I need to upshift to save fuel consumption, the vehicle does not upshift for a long time.

Unfortunately, because I borrowed a new car from a friend, the new car has not passed the break-in period and is not suitable for high-intensity off-roading, so I failed to "open" this Jeep Wrangler in the correct way, and only had a driving experience on non-paved roads. The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon adopts the front and rear suspension of the multi-link integral bridge. The adjustment of the suspension is hard, and the support and toughness are strong, which can effectively restrain the swing of the vehicle. When the body rolls at extreme speed, you can feel a response The pulling force, coupled with the suspension compression travel much higher than that of ordinary SUVs, does not feel any redundant rebound when passing through large potholes. However, the harder chassis tuning also reduces the comfort of the vehicle. The filtering of small bumps is relatively poor, intermittent aftershocks will be transmitted from the chassis to the car, and the tire noise and wind noise of the Jeep Wrangler are also very loud when driving at high speed.
