The mild-hybrid range of the 2020 Jeep Wrangler is now available in Mexico

FCA Group is putting the batteries with its releases this year for some of its brands, important presentations that announce the integration of some models to the era of semi-hybrid vehicles, and is now the case of Jeep Wrangler Mild-Hybrid 2020 .

The range of options for this new Wrangler face is very wide, starting with the incorporation of a 2.0L turbocharged engine. 4 cylinders with 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque with the support of the Mild-Hybrid eTorque for the Sport S, Unlimited Sport S and Unlimited Sahara versions.

Meanwhile for the Rubicon and Unlimited Rubicon versions it does not have this electrical support, but it does have the 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine. with 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque.

Now, returning to the theme of the versions with the Mild-Hybrid, the benefits they offer are mainly in the torque that is improved thanks to the eTorque, in addition to a better combined fuel efficiency of 11.3 km / l in the Sport S version, 11.4 km / l and 11.2 km / l for the Unlimited Sport S and Unlimited Sahara versions, respectively.

Thanks to the support of the 48-volt battery, the system takes care of the ignition of the vehicle, the electronically assisted steering, the extended injection cut and the regenerative brake.

As for the exterior and interior design, it does not obtain transcendental changes, it maintains all those details that make it special and that reflect the heritage of Jeep, starting with the seven-bar grill, LED headlights and daytime running lights for the Sahara and Rubicon versions.

Moving inside, the center console is maintained with a clean and detailed design; The climate and volume controls, the USB ports, and the Stop-Start system button were designed for quick recognition and easy reach from the driver or passenger position.

For the convenience of the driver, the instrument panel is 7 inches and all vehicle information can be monitored without losing sight of the road, from music to tire pressure.

Depending on the version the size of the central screen can vary, either 7 or 8.4 inches, integrating the Uconnect infotainment system, two USB ports in the front and two in the rear.

Being an all-terrain vehicle, it has a myriad of systems and technologies that facilitate off-road journeys, and although it now offers the Mild-Hybrid system, these 4x4 attributes are not affected at all.
