The news in the US arm of the FCA Group comes more slowly than it should, but it does. In the last public presentation of the company, in which the results of the second quarter were revealed, Sergio Marchionne revealed the launch dates of the latest products of the US division, the new and long-awaited generations of the Jeep Wrangler and RAM 1500, the pick-up full size.
In the case of the Jeep Wrangler we are talking about the new generation JL, which will hit the market as a 2018 model and will be presented in just a few months, in the month of November, just a few days before the Los Angeles Motor Show 2017 opens, in the month of December.
This new generation of the Wrangler will be a step forward on the technical level, although from an aesthetic point of view we will hardly notice any significant changes. The American brand is very clear that the success of the model is due to two fundamental pillars, its classic aesthetics and its robust off-road performance. So at first glance we will only find small aesthetic modifications.
The new 2018 Wrangler is one of the models that we have been able to better analyze in recent months. From the United States we have received dozens of spy photos of this new generation, which we have already been able to study in all its body variants, 2-door, 4-door Unlimited and even the new Wrangler open-box pick-up.
In the case of the new RAM 1500, Marchionne also confirmed its coming-out for the next Detroit Motor Show 2018, which takes place in January next year, less than two months after the arrival of the new 2018 Wrangler. More auto lighting accessories like

This new generation of the successful FCA model, 487,558 units were marketed last year, we will also find a great advance in the technical and mechanical sections, with frame improvements and the incorporation of new mechanics, such as a small 4-cylinder engine, a whole A novelty in a range like this, in which all the available mechanics tend to be high-displacement. The technological section will also be enriched, with the incorporation of the latest systems in the infotainment area, to be able to compete with its most direct rivals, the Ford F-150 and the Chevrolet Silverado, the latter could also debut in Detroit.
