Learn the differences between Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Gladiator and choose your preferred 4 × 4 truck to go on an adventure.

TWO TYPES OF VEHICLE: PICKUP OR TRUCK.

In this note we are going to tell you the main differences between Jeep Gladiator Rubicon and Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. The main difference is that they are two different types of vehicle.

Gladiator is a four-door, two-row pickup, so it has a larger size. Speaking of its dimensions, it is 5.5 m long and 1.8 m wide and tall. While it does not have a trunk, it does have a large covered bedliner box and a lockable compartment behind the rear seat. Being a pickup, its load capacity of 725 kg and its towing capacity of 3,470 kg stand out. The good news is these 9 inch Jeep JL headlights fit for Jeep Gladiator.

On the other hand, Wrangler Unlimited is a four-door station wagon. While if you wish, this Jeep is also available in a two-door version.

While both 4x4 trucks are tied for two rows of seats in interior space, the Wrangler has smaller dimensions. In length it measures 4.2 m (1.3 m less than Gladiator), while in width and height, 1.8 m, like Gladiator. In terms of cargo, the Wrangler has a 548-liter trunk, can load 559 kg and can tow up to 1,587 kg.

Gladiator has a 185 horsepower (hp) Pentastar V6 engine, 260 pound-feet of torque, and a performance of 10.3 km / l. Wrangler, a hy-brid l D-I turbo etorque with 270 hp, 295 lb-ft of torque and consumption of 11.4 km / l.

This hy-brid machinery offers additional benefits, such as the E-roll Assist system or the Start Stop system. While it is true that the Wrangler engine has more advantages, when it comes to off-road capability, both vehicles are tied.

Both have a Rock Track traction system, differential lock, electronic stabilizer bar disconnection, rails and steel plates to protect against rocks, among others.

Both 4x4 vehicles share an unmatched capacity for your most extreme adventures, although they have differences. If you want a pickup with a slightly higher gas mileage and load a lot of equipment, the Jeep Gladiator's space is for you. If you want a smaller SUV, the classic Jeep Wrangler design awaits you. The best way to decide is behind the wheel
